Pageviews and Sessions Calculator
A sample is already running. This pageviews and sessions calculator converts either way from the pair you type. Pages per session is an input. The page does not open a domain.
pageviews÷pages / session=sessions
How the figure is formed
In the first mode, sessions equal pageviews ÷ pages per session.
In the second mode, pageviews equal sessions × pages per session.
The page does not solve for pages per session. That number has to come from you. Definitions on the open web call the same ratio “pages per session”; this tool uses it as an input.
Questions people ask
Are sessions the same as visits?
Many analytics products treat a session as a visit. If your report uses “users” instead, do not mix that count with pageviews in this formula without checking the definition.
Where do I find pages per session?
In the same analytics view that shows pageviews and sessions. This calculator does not fetch GA4 or any other property.
What if pages per session is 1?
Then pageviews and sessions are the same number. That can happen on a one-page site or when each visit opens a single URL.
Can I use this with the value calculator?
Yes. If you only have pageviews, convert them to sessions here, then take the session count to the website value calculator as monthly visits.
Does a higher pages-per-session figure raise website worth?
Not by itself. This page only converts counts. Revenue still depends on the rate you supply on the value or ad revenue pages.
