Live sample — swap in your numbers
Website Value Calculator
A sample is already running. Replace the visits and rate with yours — the estimate updates as you type. A website worth calculator that invents a number from a URL is a different product. This page multiplies the figures you supply.
visits×rate=monthly estimate
What you need before you start
- A monthly visit or pageview count from your own analytics.
- A rate you already know: revenue per visit, or RPM.
- A sale multiple only if you want an illustrative range. Leave it blank for revenue alone.
| Typical URL “worth” page | This website value calculator |
|---|---|
| Asks for a domain and invents traffic. | Has no domain field. You type the count. |
| Applies a hidden multiple and calls it a price. | Shows a sale range only if you type a multiple, and names it illustrative. |
| Implies a crawl of backlinks or an index. | Does not read backlinks, domain authority, or a live site. |
How the website value estimate is formed
When you choose monthly visits and revenue per visit, monthly revenue is visits × that rate. Yearly revenue is the monthly figure × 12.
When you choose RPM, monthly revenue is (pageviews ÷ 1,000) × RPM. If you started from visits, pageviews are visits × pages per session.
When you choose monthly pageviews, visits are pageviews ÷ pages per session. The calculator uses those visits if the rate is revenue per visit.
The illustrative sale range is yearly revenue × the multiples you type. It appears only when at least one multiple is present. The calculator does not look up domain authority, backlinks, or an index status.
Questions people ask
Why is “website worth” not a sale price?
A buyer pays for profit, risk, and how replaceable the traffic is. This page multiplies the figures you supply. Two sites with the same visits can sell for very different amounts. Treat the sale range as a sketch of arithmetic, not a listing price.
What is the difference between RPM and CPM?
CPM is what an advertiser pays per thousand impressions. RPM is what the site keeps per thousand pageviews, after the network’s share. This calculator uses RPM when you select that rate. It does not convert a published CPM into your income.
Where do I get monthly visits?
Use the same monthly visits or pageviews your analytics product already shows. The calculator does not fetch Google Analytics, Search Console, or a public traffic estimate for a domain you type, because there is no domain field.
Does this tool scan my website?
No. There is no URL box and no request to anyone else’s server about your site. Everything runs in this browser from the fields above.
Should I use revenue or profit in the multiple?
Sale conversations usually apply a multiple to yearly profit. This form only knows revenue, because you did not enter costs. If you want a tighter sketch, type a profit figure as “revenue per visit” after you have already subtracted cost per visit yourself.
Why do other calculators show a value after I paste a URL?
They guess traffic or reuse a third-party panel, then apply a hidden multiple. That is why so many of them rhyme with “worth one million dollars.” This page will not invent the traffic number.
